The England Under 18 Men’s team, under head coach Rick Wooldridge,
will depart Manchester for Tallinn, Estonia on August 4th to compete
in the Qualifying Round of the European Championships for Junior
Men. They will have their final training session this weekend at the Amaechi Basketball Centre to prepare for their tournament opener against Sweden on August 6th. FULL STORY England U20 Women ready for European qualifiers 24 July 2003 - The 3rd European Championships for Under 20 Women begin on 30th July, with England competing in Group A of the Qualifying Round being held in Lisbon, Portugal. There are four groups of teams competing around Europe next week in hope of advancing to the Final Round of the Championship. With the exception of Group D, the top three teams from each group will advance to the Final Round (the top two advance in Group D). FULL STORY England Women victorious in Malta 12 May 2003 - England’s Senior Women team travelled to the Mediterranean this past weekend to compete in the Malta International Tournament. They went undefeated throughout the event to be named tournament winners. Other nations involved were Scotland, Italian Selection, and hosts, Malta.
