Keynes Lions kept their playoff aspirations alive with a comfortable
102-75 victory over the Leicester Riders at Bletchley Leisure
Centre on Sunday evening.
Leicester started the stronger and lead 16-14 early in the first,
before a 10-2 Lions burst to close the quarter took the score
out to 24-18.
Milton Keynes extended their lead throughout the rest of the game,
and after restricting the visitors to just eleven points in the
third quarter, they hit a 12-2 run in the final period to lead
85-57 and seal the victory.
Freddie Cole led all scorers with 22 points for the Lions, while
Tim Winn led the scoring for the visitors with 21.
