Scottish Phoenix Mitsubishi Rocks turned the seeding on it's head, defeating defending BBL Championship Play-off winners Chester Jets 89-84 at the Northgate Arena on Saturday night to qualify for this season's play-off semi-finals.

In a close game throughout, neither side ever took real control of the game and the scores were tied at 65-65 going into the final quarter.

Ted Berry gave the Rocks a 69-68 lead early in the fourth period, before John McCord tied the game at 80-80.

With the score again tied at 84-84 going into the final minute of the game, the Rocks scored the last five points of the game to secure the victory.

Shawn Myers led the Rocks scoring with 27 points, while Kenny Gregory led all scorers with 33 points for the Jets.
