Chester Jets picked up a come from behind 105-91 victory over the Newcastle Eagles at the Northgate Arena on Sunday evening.

Newcastle lead for the majority of the game, and lead by six at 42-36 off the back of a 14-7 burst in the second quarter and were up by two points at 71-69 going into the final stanza.

In the final period, a Calvin Davis three-pointer for the Jets tied the game at 78-78, and a Charles Smith three-pointer for the visitors tied it up at 83-83.

Chester closed the game out with a 22-8 tear to pick up the victory and keep the pressure up on the other title contenders.

John McCord led all scorers with 30 points for the Jets, while TJ Walker led the Eagles scoring with 24.
