Brighton Bears completed the quartet of teams in the BBL Championship
Play-off Semi-Finals with an 89-82 victory at home to Kinder London
Towers on Sunday evening.
Bears took a 27-19 first quarter lead with the help of a 10-3
surge, but Towers pulled back to lead 35-34 in the second, before
an 11-4 tear to close the second quarter saw Bears 45-39 ahead.
A 15-6 third quarter run extended their lead to 60-45, but the
visitors hit back in the fourth quarter.
A couple of Shaheen Holloway three pointers helped Towers to trim
the deficit to two points at 76-74, before Bears responded through
Ralph Blalock and Randy Duck to lead 81-74.
Terrell Myers fouled out on an unsportsmanlike foul with 24 seconds
left and with it Towers' resistance ended.
Duck led all scorers with 24 points for the victorious Bears.
